it is all that safe. Soap is a detergent, and its "job" is to tie up "impure" particles. It works similar to water-wetter because it changes the contact energy wetting of the water-solution to the metal walls; thus, increasing the thermal transport from the metal to the liquid. I don't, however, like the potential bubbling effect of the water in the system. It makes me think of using dish soap in your laundry - disaster city. There are my free 2c.. :) SS
